Meals and snack time provide educational experiences, as well as a peaceful, relaxed time for socialization and conversation.

Our Approach to Food & Nutrition

We have a variety of menu options to accommodate allergies and dietery restrictions, including vegetarian, vegan, lactose-free, gluten-free, and any cultural restrictions. Nutrition is vital to strengthen a child’s physical and mental development. Our hot lunches are catered by the well known company, Wholesome Foods.

Physical Fitness

We believe children learn better when they are physically active, and we make sure they have a rich balance of structured and unstructured active outdoor time. During inclement weather, we set up indoor physical activities to ensure children still get the exercise they need.

The ConnectED Start Program

We believe in providing our children with a variety of learning opportunities and experiences. During our ConnectED Start Language and Music sessions, our children effortlessly and naturally acquire essential learning skills and enhance their development through fun-filled programming using rhymes, songs, movement, and developmentally appropriate play, The goal is to foster positive connections between educators and children while expanding cognitive abilities and building healthy social, emotional, and physical development.

"Both of my sons attended Follow The Child daycare from age 14 months until 5 and 8 (they only stopped due to the pandemic). It’s a wonderful daycare full of loving and processional caregivers. The daycare teachers prepared my kids for success at school and they were taught to be responsible, kind and a good friend by Follow the Child. Personally, I felt Follow the Child was a close partner - part of the village - that helped raise my children! I highly recommend to anyone looking for a safe, loving, well-organized daycare for their kids."
