The Preschool Environment
In our Pre-School program, each child’s individual needs are met by a daily scheduled program of the following:
Preschool Program
Our Pre-School program has a capacity of 19 children with a 1:8 teacher to child ratio. This ratio allows for children to connect with peers, build social skills, independence and benefit from small group learning. We believe that every child is unique, and we encourage our children to be responsible, independent and interactive at their own pace. Follow the Child uses a constructionist or “discovery” model, where students learn concepts from working with materials during an uninterrupted block of PLAY, rather than by direct instruction.

- Recognize and make patterns

Environment and Community Awareness:
- Use their five senses to explore the world around them
- Explore the use of blocks, wood, clay, water and sand
- Learn about shapes, colours, signs, and patterns in their world
- Find out about places and activities in the community
Social Development, Self Awareness, Social Relationship:
- Work in a group
